Jessica Portis joined TIFF in 2020 and serves as Head of Member Portfolio Management and Services, with responsibility for managing TIFF’s new Member relationships, the customization of Member portfolios and the delivery of all Member services. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Portis was a Partner and the Not-for-Profit Consulting Services Leader at Pavilion, A Mercer practice where she was responsible for overseeing the delivery of investment related services. Previously, she led Mercer’s Not-for-Profit advisory and OCIO practice for three years. Additionally, Ms. Portis spent 15 years at Summit Strategies Group, where she held various roles including Director of Consulting, lead consultant to a variety of institutional client types, and a member of the manager research team. She holds a BS degree in accounting from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Ms. Portis has obtained the right to use the chartered financial analyst designation.
Lisa Matson joined TIFF in 2020 and serves as the General Counsel responsible for the legal and compliance departments of TIFF’s regulated investment advisers and family of mutual funds. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Matson was the General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, and Senior Partner of Penn Capital Management Company and previously held senior roles with Lincoln Financial Group and Vanguard. She started her legal career at the law firm of Stradley Ronon. Ms. Matson holds a B.A. magna cum laude with distinction from Carleton College, and a J.D. from The University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she also serves on the Dean’s Council.
Kane Brenan joined TIFF in 2020 and serves as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Brenan has responsibility for the organization’s overall activities. He is a member of TIFF’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Brenan spent over 20 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently a Partner, Global Head, and Co-CIO of the Global Portfolio Solutions (GPS) group where he worked with some of Goldman’s largest pension and endowment clients in an outsourced chief investment officer capacity. He holds a BA from Boston College and a combined JD/MBA from Georgetown University. Mr. Brenan serves on several nonprofit boards including Beyond Celiac, Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation, and Holy Child School at Rosemont. [TAS board]
Robert Zion joined TIFF in 2017 and serves as Chief Operating Officer. His responsibilities span all operational and strategic aspects of TIFF’s work and specifically include oversight of finance, operations, information technology, legal affairs, and human resources. Previously, Mr. Zion spent 25 years at Hirtle Callaghan & Co., where he was Chief Operating Officer and, before that, Chief Financial Officer. He served on the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Prior to that, he was a Senior Audit Manager at PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Mr. Zion holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and is a Philadelphia Financial Scholars board member.

Zane Hamid joined TIFF in 2006 and serves as Head of Operations. Previously he has been a manager within TIFF operations, analytics and member services. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Hamid was employed by SEI, where he worked in alternative investments operations. He received his BS in accounting from Cabrini College.
